• URLs submitted -- The landing page URLs you submit for analysis
• Email address -- Only if you purchase a paid audit or opt in to communications
• Usage analytics -- Page views, feature usage, and performance metrics
• IP address -- Used for rate limiting and abuse prevention
• AI analysis results -- Scores, roast points, and recommendations generated for your URL

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate and deliver your landing page analysis
• To create shareable roast result pages
• To process payments for paid audit reports
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
• To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI analysis
• To send transactional emails related to paid purchases

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase -- Database hosting for storing audit results and user data. Data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.
• Stripe -- Payment processing for paid audit reports. Stripe handles all payment card data directly; we never store your card details.
• PostHog -- Product analytics to understand how users interact with the Service. PostHog collects anonymized usage data.
• Vercel -- Application hosting and edge network. Vercel may process request logs including IP addresses.

4. Data Retention

Screenshots captured for analysis are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored. Audit results (scores, text feedback) are retained to power shareable result pages. IP-based rate limit data is stored in memory and expires automatically.

5. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that deleting your data will remove any shared roast result pages associated with your submissions.

6. Cookies

PageCrit uses minimal cookies for essential functionality:

• Session cookies -- Required for authentication if you create an account
• Analytics cookies -- Used by PostHog for product analytics (can be opted out)

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
